Worksheet Studio — Privacy Policy
Summary
Worksheet Studio is fully on-device. It has no account system, no backend server, no analytics, and no advertising. Every word list, question set, project, and exported PDF you create lives only on your device unless you deliberately choose to share or print it.
What data Worksheet Studio stores
Worksheet Studio stores the information you type in — word lists, clues, questions, project names, your optional name/class label, and generated PDF exports — locally on your device only, using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Data collection by Worksheet Studio
Worksheet Studio does not collect any data. Specifically:
- No account and no sign-in.
- No analytics SDK of any kind.
- No backend server; nothing you create ever leaves your device unless you export and share it yourself.
- No advertising, and no advertising SDK is included in the app.
- No AI or generative service is used to create content — every word search, crossword, flashcard set, quiz, and certificate is produced by on-device logic from the words and questions you provide.
- We do not sell your data, because we do not receive any.
Built-in Starter Library
Worksheet Studio ships with a bundled library of ready-to-use word lists and question sets. This content is packaged with the app itself — loading it does not involve any network request or data collection.
Tracking
Worksheet Studio does not track you across apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it has no use for it.
Children's privacy
Worksheet Studio is intended for teachers, tutors, homeschool parents, and other adults preparing learning materials — it is not directed at children and is not listed in the Kids Category. Any names typed into a project (for example, a class name or a certificate recipient's name) are stored only on the device and are never collected by us or sent anywhere.
Exporting and sharing
When you export a PDF, it is generated entirely on your device. You choose whether and how to share it (for example, via AirDrop, Mail, Print, or saving to Files) using Apple's standard share sheet. We do not receive a copy of anything you export or share.
Data retention and deletion
Because everything is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it. You can delete individual word lists, question sets, or projects in the app, or remove all data at once using "Delete all data" in Settings. Deleting the app removes its data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
